This step of innovation leads to new high–tech mechanical components, such as this circular flange that combines different materials and high-level machining.
The union of two different worlds: Stainless Steel and Iron
These components are special flanges with an external diameter of 1200 mm and a total thickness of 80 mm. They embody our challenge to bond two materials into a single element: stainless steel and iron.
To meet the precision requirements of the client’s project, the in-house workshop performed the machining using our CNC machines. We transformed raw material rings into high-level mechanical parts, achieving centimal precision.
The complexity of the design and the required finish demanded in-house CAD-CAM engineering. We developed a suitable tooling and machine clamping systems to shape the metal in full compliance with the requested specifications.
