Our Custom Cooling Tank
Every project at Steelbau begins with an in-depth dialogue to transform a technical requirement into an efficient solution. Recently, a client from the food industry entrusted us with the creation of a specialized tank for a coating plant, designed to store, pump, and distribute batter at a controlled temperature. Starting from the client’s initial drawing, our export department initiated a dynamic exchange of information to refine the construction details. Leveraging our extensive experience in this sector, we suggested strategic modifications to optimize the container’s functionality. This co-design process allowed the client to update the original design, approving a final configuration perfectly aligned with the real-world needs of the production line.
Engineering and Production: Efficiency at the Core
Once the layout was defined, we moved into the operational phase, where artisanal precision meets technical specifications. The heart of this tank lies in its temperature management system: an internal spiral has been applied within the jacket between the walls, designed to guide the flow of the cooling liquid from the bottom upwards. This solution, combined with two external drains (a lower inlet and an upper outlet), ensures constant and uniform fluid recirculation. This technical approach guarantees that the batter is maintained at the ideal temperature, ensuring the highest quality of the final product throughout the entire pumping and distribution cycle.
Guaranteed Quality: Testing and Final Delivery
The Steelbau process does not end with the welding of the last component or the final satin finish. Instead, it continues with a control phase. Before leaving the workshop, each tank undergoes internal testing to verify both the dimensional accuracy and the seal of the jacket. Only after passing these inspections is the product carefully packaged and made available to the client for transport.
